Haus Candy Co. (“Haus Candy,” “we,” “us”) operates hauscandyco.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit the site, request an event booking, or sign up for pop-up updates, and what we do with it. We keep this simple on purpose: we’re a candy cart, and we collect only what we need to run one.
Information you give us
When you fill out a form on this site, we receive what you submit:
- Booking requests: your name, email address, phone number, event date, occasion, approximate guest count, package interest, and anything you write in the message field.
- Pop-up signup: your name and email address.
Our forms are processed by Formspree, which delivers your submission to our email. Formspree handles that data under its own privacy policy.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, some technical information is collected automatically when you visit: device and browser type, IP address, the pages you view, the site that referred you, and how you interact with pages. Today that happens through our hosting provider’s standard server logs (the site is hosted on Vercel).
We use or may enable the analytics and advertising tools below. When active, they set cookies or use similar identifiers to collect the kinds of technical data described above:

We do not put your name, email, phone number, or the contents of your form submissions into analytics or advertising tools, URLs, or page titles.

How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make the site work: form processing (Formspree), website hosting (Vercel), email, and the analytics and advertising providers named above when those tools are active. We may also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep booking inquiries and event correspondence for as long as we need them to serve your event, answer follow-up questions, and meet business and legal record-keeping needs. We keep signup emails until you unsubscribe. When information is no longer needed, we delete it.
Your choices
- Email: every marketing email we send includes a way to unsubscribe, or you can just ask us to remove you.
- Cookies: your browser can block or clear cookies. Google offers an Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and Meta offers ad controls in your ad preferences.
- Access, correction, deletion: email us at chelcie@hauscandyco.com and we’ll tell you what we have about you, fix it, or delete it. Where state privacy laws give you additional rights, we’ll honor them.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no website or internet transmission is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
Kids love the cart, but this website isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, for example when we turn on new analytics or advertising tools, we’ll update this page and its effective date.
